Ann Plazek, Ex-Officio '26

Ann Plazek is the Outreach Services Manager for the Medina County District Library where she thrives on the opportunity to take the library beyond the walls.  Ann supervises the bookmobile and oversees a team of 6 providing personalized home delivery for over 160 Medina County residents, day care story times and book delivery, Pop Up Library events and Lobby Stops for 7 Senior Living Communities.   

She is a member of Leadership Medina County Class of 2014, a certified Dementia Friends Champion, a recipient of Library Journal’s Movers & Shakers Award, and the Ohio Library Council’s John Philip Award, the ABOS John Philip Excellence in Outreach Award and is a Past President of the Association of Bookmobile and Outreach Services.
